Action Points

there will be shit points, but they will be altered from the ones most of us are used to in the following ways:

-they can be used after the result of the natural die roll is seen (we are all used to that version so why fight it), but instead of a re-roll you will get to add a smaller die (or dice depending on level) to nudge toward a success. That means nat 1’s will still be a miss no matter what, but low/mid rolls can have the possibility of being successes. (Nat 1’s and 20’s will not be auto fails/sucesses on skill checks.)

-at each normal level you get a feat at (ie 1,3,6, etc) you can choose one extra feat that can be simulated using a shit point. One of these feats can be exchanged at 6th, 12th and 18th levels.

- you can regain temporary spell points by spending shit points at a rate of 1 to 1. these will last for a number of rounds equal to your caster level, and they will negate the effects of fatigue and exhaustion due to low spell points, but obviously that relief will only be temporary.
